Cytara is the virtual carrier for Fashionoffice
On 6 Oct 2009 the mail boxes of cytara.com had been set out of function without announcement or explanation by Globat. Between 6 and 10 Oct 2009 the Fashionoffice-Trendletter was sent from a temporary fashionoffice.org-email address. On 10 Oct, Globat argued that they have set the mail boxes out of function because they have registered the sending of 555 emails on one day. The next Trendletter should be sent again from cytara.com.
Cytara's look is inspired by the Isotypes of the Austrian philosopher Otto Neurath and a music video where the American futurist Buckminster Fuller is speaking. It's about learning machines and our role of designing them: Fashionoffice Insight.
Since April 2009 Fashionoffice has activated Cytara (domain cytara.com) for carrying the Trendletter and receive press releases through 'her' mailboxes. On 20 March 2009 the address trendletter@fashionoffice.org was set out of function and will not be activated in the near future.
